Chloe looked at the plane ticket in her trembling hands. She would be staying with her best friend in Korea for 3 months. No hugging, kissing, and talking face to face with Henry, not now, not ever. These were her last moments in America; at least they will be for a while.
FLIGHT 904 IS READY FOR BOARDING PASSENGERS
She slowly stood, and walked toward the gate, hesitating, half expecting to hear his voice call out to her, as it had so many times before.
“CHLOE!”
She whipped around, but it wasn’t Henry.
“Blaine, what are you doing here?” She was shocked to see him since she had moved out of state to pursue her life at the University of Ikgnoh. “I thought you were having a weekend with your family!”
“And let you leave without saying goodbye? Why didn’t you tell me? Why? You know you could always come and stay with me and Alice!” He grabbed her and hugged her, knowing the pain she felt.
“I can’t, everywhere I go, everything I see, it’s always HIM!” Her throat tightened, and she pulled away. “Take care of your family. I’ll be fine.”

“Miss.” The stewardess shook Chloe’s shoulder in an attempt to wake her. “Miss!”
“Mmmm?” She opened her eyes to the smiling stewardess and looked around her.
“The plane has landed already, Miss.”
Minutes later, she walked out toward the baggage claim, and spotted a small crowd of absolutely gorgeous trainees, who were laughing and talking. A tall girl with long hair was putting her arm around a trainee who looked suspiciously similar to Super Junior’s Leeteuk, only younger, as she spotted Chloe.
“Eh! CHLOEEE!!! YOURE HERE!!!!” She shouted as if they were miles apart, instead of like 10 feet.
“M---Maria????” She looked drastically different than when she had last seen her, Maria now had the body of a dancer, and a nicer complexion. “Omo-“ She winced as she saw her running toward her.
“CHLOEEEE!!!”
“Oof” Chloe winced as Maria smashed against her with a hug.
“Are you ok? I got your message last night but I couldn’t reply cause of Kangin! He confiscated my phone! He’s such a mean trainer!!! All he does is sit there and eat the lunch boxes all the girls bring him while WE work!!!” She rambled on for a couple of minutes, then took her hand, “Come on, lets go home. JIN! GET CHLOE’S LUGGAGE!”
‘And she complains about Kangin giving all the orders while he just sits there’ He thought.
Maria’s place was a small but pretty American styled apartment; white fuzzy carpets covered the living room floor while light pink curtains blew here and there in the soft springtime breeze. The aroma of pumpkin spice filled the room and Maria motioned for Chloe to sit down on a simple white couch while she went into the kitchen.
On the table next to her was a lamp, and a picture of Maria laughing with a handsome young man she recognized, but couldn’t place who he was. Now that she noticed it, there were a lot of pictures of Maria with handsome guys here and there.
“Player…” She mumbled, then, a tear trickled down her cheek. “I seem to run into a lot of players recently….”
“Are you ok?”
Chloe quickly turned around, “ How did you get behind me???”
“I’ve been standing here for 5 minutes while you stood there and stared at pictures while mumbling….did you say I was a player???” Maria was about to kick her when she noticed Chloe suddenly start to cry. She sighed. “Here…” She pulled her close and let her cry on her shoulder and listened to her muffled sobs.
After about 20 minutes, Chloe stopped. “Why do you smell like…..cookies?”
“Uhh….. Taemin drove me to training and back home earlier since Min Min’s car isn’t working, and I don’t wanna go with Kangin, sooo he made me cookies while I got ready.
“He made…..cookies?”
She laughed and looked at Chloe, “You’d be surprised at how good his cooking is! One time me made us all lunch to eat in the park just outside of the training hall! Oh, by the way, want a cookie?” She grinned and ran into the kitchen, followed by the sound of her smacking into something. “OW! Aaiiiishhh….”
O___________________________O --Chloe’s facial expression!
Just then, the phone rang. “Hey, get that would ya?”
“Hello???” Chloe answered slowly.
“Annyeong! It’s Jonghyun’s birthday tomorrow, and you know what birthdays mean…. Ok, if you don’t then I’m FORCED to tell you…it means….PARTY!!!!” The voice laughed hysterically as Chloe just stared blankly. “Ahem…anyway… it’s tomorrow, at 9! Be there ok???”

“Who was it?” Maria came in carrying a tray of milk and cookies.
“Some weirdo talking about some Jonghyun persons party tomorrow.”
“EH??? I forgot! I need to go shopping! But… I don’t have a car! Uhhhh, what time did he say?”
“9”
“AHH! I have schedules tomorrow! That gives me tonight to do it! Do you want to come with me?”
“………..”
“Chloeee~” Maria leaned towards her and waved her hand in her face.
“Huh? Wah? Oh.. yeah, whatever you want.”
“So you wanna come?” She smiled.
“Yeah.”
Maria grinned as she ran over to the phone excitedly. “Ah, Min Min! Yeah, yeah….YEAH!!! Yeah….oh? Ohhhh…..Then who can-……Ah, I see….WHAT??? YOU CAN’T! I CAN’T ASK HIM!!! WHAT? NO!! HEY WAI----…” She looked at the phone blankly.
“Uh….what happened?”
“She said Kangin is gonna pick us up.”
“WHAT???”
